Since I am the God of athletics, and I invented the footrace, many track and field logos include a winged shoe, which is based on my winged sandals. This is a reference to my speed and agility as well. During many events, the fastest runners are referred to as 'flying', which is also a reference to my winged shoes and helmet.I also influenced the modern medical symbol, which is my staff! I am connected to medicine because in the past, doctors had to travel long distances to visit their patients. Since I am the God of travel, they fell under my protection as well.
